RULES FOR WMHS IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION
1. Class Times:
Class starts at 7:50am
Class dismisses at 2:55pm
2. Dress Code:
Morgan County Schools dress code will apply
All purses and backpacks must be placed in the corner of the ISS room.
3. Supplies:
Students are responsible for bringing materials to complete class assignments.
Only those items that pertain to class assignments will be allowed in ISS.
No cell phones or electronic devices.
4. Meals:
There will be no talking, passing of notes while going to get lunch.
Students will eat their lunch at their assigned cubicle.
All food and drink items must be disposed of immediately after lunch.
No eating or drinking any time other than lunch.
5. Assignments:
Students will spend the day working on assignments or reading appropriate material.
6. Student Location:
Students will be assigned to an individual study carrel.
Students are responsible for keeping their carrel clean and free from damage.
Students will sit up straight and face the front of their desk. Leaning out of carrel area is not permitted.
Chair legs are to remain on the floor a all times.
7. Student Activity:
Student must raise their hand to get permission for any request.
Students are not to get out of their seats without permission.
Students are not to talk without permission.
Talking between students is forbidden.
Students can not sleep or lay heads down on desk.
Students are expected to be on their best behavior at all times.
Failure to comply with any of the ISS rules may result in Out-Of-School Suspension.
