WM Announcements for the Week of March 6-10

Middle School

There will be a Senior/Teacher Dodge ball game on Friday, March 17th.  The cost to attend is $2.00

The band will be offering free color guard lessons to any girl in grades 7 through 11 on Wednesdays 3:15 til 4,

weather permitting.

Student of the week: Zac Hook Teacher of the week: Mrs. Thedford

Community Fair- March 20 6-7:30 WMMS/WMHS cafeteria. The high school student council will be having

a blood drive this day/night. This is a community gathering, please help us spread the word!

Spring and Friend pictures will be Tuesday, March 14. For Friend pictures, each person in the picture

must have $7 (per group they are in) ready at time of pictures. More information will be sent home in the

coming days. 

Club pictures will also be taken on Tuesday, March 14. Sponsors, please get with your club if you want

them to wear their club shirts or something specific. 

8 th GRADERS… Applications for 2017-2018 WM Yearbook Staff are available now. See Mrs. Spencer to get

one. They are due by Thurs, March 16 and will not be accepted late; they do not guarantee a spot on the staff. 

High School

and interested in playing, you must sign up in the media center by Wednesday, March 15.

If you ordered a prom shirt, please come by and see Mrs. Ashby to get your money back. We did not have

enough to order this year.

Cosmetology applications for 1 st year students are in Mrs. Banks office. Applications due to Mrs. Banks 3/13. 

Morgan County Schools Robotics Team application are in Mrs. Banks office and are due by March 13, 2017. 

SENIOR ANNOUNCEMENTS

If you are interested in playing dodge ball, you must sign up in the media center by Wednesday, March 15.

Cap and Gown picture orders are to be turned in to Mrs. Spencer by Tuesday, March 14. 

Please pick up the prom ticket letters if you don’t have Mrs. Ashby in class (or pick up with Mr. Goodwin).

HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER REMINDERS

 Grades need to be POSTED by the end of the school day (3:00 pm) on Tuesday, March 14th. 

 Report cards go home on Friday, March 17th.  

 On-Campus ACT is March 21 st for 11 th graders. 9th, 10th and 12th grade students will have a

community and family engagement day. 

 EL monitoring forms are due to Mrs. Cossentine by March 20.
